A graphical forensic analysis platform built around ingest and case workflows. Record the installed release, modules, module versions, and data-source configuration instead of treating the application name as a complete method description.
Did a displayed result come from a native record, an ingest module, or an analyst annotation?
An application can combine parsed fields, search results, and examiner-created categories into one view. Separate those layers when exporting findings. A keyword hit is a location to investigate, while a bookmark is an analyst action rather than a source-generated artifact.
Preserve a reproducible analysis
Retain the source images, case database or export as appropriate, ingest settings, module errors, and examiner notes. Keep a clear distinction between the original evidence, the case workspace, and a produced report. Check that an export includes enough source locations to reproduce a material finding.
A useful validation question
Test the module and format that generated the relied-upon result. Run a controlled sample where the expected native value is independently known, then inspect whether the report preserves its context. A successful ingest job does not show that every module processed every input.
